Great news, all covid restrictions have been lifted by the Welsh Government and self-contained accommodation like our glamping megapod can remain open for business. We continue to welcome our visitors throughout the year. Of course the Coronavirus will still be around and so precaution and due care remains our priority to protect our guests as well as ourselves.

 

Reassurance for our guests on the cleanliness and hygiene status of our pod is therefore very important to us. As such we have taken the following measures in order to optimise hygiene standards and be as prepared as possible for welcoming our guests.

• The Mega-pod is a new bespoke structure

 

• There is only one pod in an isolated garden that guests have entirely to themselves. Social distancing is thoroughly maintained

 

• We operate a self- check in service, although we are readily available should you require assistance

 

• Breakfast is served as a 'help yourself' continental hamper found inside the pod. This hamper will see you through to the end of your stay. Items where possible are individually wrapped and single use

 

• We operate a 'double cleaning policy' that visitors are not obliged to partake in however we appreciate their cooperation. We kindly ask guests to clean and wipe down any major contact surface area such as the door key, door handles, light switches, taps etc prior to checking out. Gloves, mask and cleaning equipment are available inside the pod. This helps to protect those who enter the pod to thoroughly clean it down between guests. It also gives all guests the reassurance that any major contact surface has been cleaned and disinfected not only once but twice prior to checking in

 

• We also ask all guests to kindly strip the beds and place all used linen and towels in a net bag provided prior to checkout. All rubbish is to be put into the appropriate bags (general waste, recycling and food waste) and placed outside ready for collection

 

• A copy of the double cleaning policy, cleaning checklist and COVID-19 risk assessment is available in the welcome folder for guests to read.

 

• All bedding and towels are washed on a 60 degree full washing cycle. Disinfectant spray is used on all curtains, cushions and soft furnishings. Cutlery, glasses and mugs are cleaned and washed in a dishwasher

 

• Airbnb is one of the platforms we advertise the pod on and we have opted into their Enhanced Cleaning Protocol, taking further training into how to thoroughly clean down the accommodation between guests.
